What investments can be considered the best? Of course, investing in yourself! About this promising way of self-development and other interesting things told at the presentation of the YEP-incubator in Zhytomyr State Technological University
At the meeting on October 3, all people who are interested in their own development, in order to talk about innovations in a fully understandable and accessible language, have gathered at the State Council. Stakeholders of the program – student youth who seeks development and financial independence.
 
The meeting was presented by YEP, an innovative ecosystem of support and development of youth entrepreneurship in Ukraine, which covers the network of academic business incubators at Ukrainian universities – YEP Incubators. The idea of ​​something like this is not new and existed at the university for a long time, the possibilities for its realization were available in 2012-2013. Then at the university there were teams that developed and implemented business ideas. But the events of 2014 made their adjustments, and the implementation of plans was postponed. The more pleasant it is that the opportunity to realize projects has arisen right now, in the format of the YEP-Incubator, which will enable students to work in teams, develop business projects, and perform tasks that are put before them by representatives of large companies. It is significant that, on condition of a successful presentation of their own project, the winners will receive 25 000 UAH. for the implementation of the startup.
All this will be done under the guidance of mentors, mentors, who will accompany their activities during the program. Training for participants of the YEP-Incubator will be free of charge, will be on-line. And it will be the most successful businessmen from different countries of the world – Israel, Germany, USA, Poland and others. According to the representatives of the University, which has become the main educational institution in the region, training in the lecture format and in the format of coworking will give an opportunity to revive the youth entrepreneurship, especially since the project is supported by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
The information about the project is interesting to everyone who is looking for opportunities for self-realization and financial independence, and in the two or three weeks that passed after the announcement about the start of registration, many people had time to become participants of the competition. Of those who will offer the strongest and most interesting business projects, teams will be formed to participate in the Batli University and will be able to work to implement their own ideas. The projects that the incubator participants will work on can affect not only IT technologies, but also groups formed in such a way that they include both socio-humanitarian students and technicians. The mixed teams will have people of different temperament, different experiences, different ages, and will combine all of them – the desire to implement bold and useful ideas.
During the implementation of the project, the Zhytomyr State Pedagogical University will, for its part, form the youth academic environment, be involved with its own resources, and a team of expert mentors will assist in the accomplishment of the tasks set by twenty top companies in Ukraine and the world. The scope of business requests is unlimited: from IT to the activities of powerful holding companies. Practical component of participation in the project – realization of the modern model of dual education. Since the University has Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree Programs in Entrepreneurship, thanks to YEP, there is an instant mix of theory with practice. For Zhytomyr, this program is a realization of the vision and mission of the city and implementation of the concept of entrepreneurship in the program “Zhytomyr-2030”.
The idea of ​​reaching the level of Estonia that currently invests in the Ukrainian economy does not seem inaccessible when the graduates of the business incubator, such as Andriy Anisimov, present the program.
The student of the university named after him. T.G. Shevchenko considers the junior entrepreneur, but Andriy, at the age of 21, already has the experience of implementing several start-ups. The story of their own mistakes, the ways and the opportunities that project participants disclose to themselves, public benefit and financial independence did not look like a lesson. Especially since his view on mentoring Andrew expressed frankly: “Mentors are always subjective. So do not stop and believe in your own strength! ”
Dmitry Kasap, a member of the international exhibition center, project manager of the Innovation Market project, told about the final part of the selection of startups – performances on the real market on November 23 during the International Forum Innovation Market, which will be judged by company executives. In addition to the title of the champions – prizes and proposals to implement their projects in life. By the way, Dmytro expressed the right opinion that the visit to the forum could give birth to a new business idea.
Roman Romashchenko, a project manager, talked about the mechanism of the YEP-incubator and that all great ideas started with a good team and a desire for self-realization.
