Valerii Harchyshyn – rock musician, leader of the rock group “Druha Rika”, producer
Ambitions and aspirations led by Valery after graduation to Zhytomyr School of Culture and Arts named after. I. Ogienko. The department of wind instruments became a base that allowed Valery to start his own way. The first teams – local ensembles and the famous choir “Orea”. 1996 year was marked by the founding of the “Druha Rika” musical group, in which the singer took the position of not only the soloist of the band, but also the author and composer of future hits. At the first concerts of the creative team that were played at the Zhytomyr Pedagogical Institute, there were far fewer people gathered than now, but the debut concert of future rock stars took place precisely in those walls.
Now Valerii Harchyshyn is one of the most successful musicians of Ukraine, has been awarded with many professional awards and awards, and his social and charitable activity is aimed at attracting attention to the problem of the fight against lymphoma.
Andrew Kishe (Andrii Svirskyi) – solo pop singer, television presenter, actor, producer
Andrew was born in Zhytomyr in the family of the actress of the puppet theater. He began to work very early, but not in a creative environment: he became an employee of a furniture factory – a carpenter and collector of furniture. But the creative nature sought art, and Andriy entered the Kyiv State Choreographic School in 1994. Eight years were not for nothing: they were devoted to dance art. Andrew’s vocal career began in 2002, and his debut album appeared on the shelves of music stores only four years later. Experience is a great power that Andrew gained when he was a participant in several musical contests and television shows. The singer tried himself in the role of the leading music channel M1 and even starred in the popular TV series “The Return of Mukhtar”.
Artem Kondratiuk is a solo pop singer, vocal teacher
The native town of Artem has a poetic name Ozernoe and is located very close to Zhytomyr. The future singer studied a lot and diligently, gaining knowledge and practice: music school, conductor-choir department of Zhytomyr Music College named after Kosenko, vocal department, Zhytomyr Institute of Culture and Arts of the National Academy of Leaders of Culture and Arts. And the training was due: the geography of Artem’s competitive vocal victories spread far beyond Ukraine, and his triumphant performances at the Slavic Bazaar festival, Karaoke on the Independence TV program and Voice of the Country-3 strengthened the position of the solo artist on the Ukrainian stage. No wonder that knowledge is strength, but there is not enough knowledge: Artem is a real talent to conquer the hearts with his romantic performance.
In 2013, Zhytomyr citizen received the honorary title “Pride of the city”, for many years he teaches academic and pop vocal in one of the children’s musical schools of Zhytomyr, and plans – the release of the second solo album.
Oleksandr Voievutskyi is a solo pop singer, winner of the “Chance” project.
Alexander was born in an ordinary Zhytomyr family of engineer and accountant. Therefore, the choice of education for the boy was quite logical: the faculty of management of agroecological Zhytomyr University. Only since 1994, he professionally started singing, and in 2000 he won the title of the winner of the TV project “Karaoke na Maidani” and, later, won the “Chance” project. The image of a romantic, a poet and a dreamer with boundless blue eyes, singing penetrating songs, quickly gathered supporters.
Ihor Voevutskyi is a vocalist, guitarist of the group “Aviator”, producer
Television projects “Karaoke on Maidan” and “Chance” became the starting point for many Ukrainian stars. It is thanks to them that Igor has become a serious creative path within the Ukrainian show business. As a member of the Aviator group, which debuted in 2005, Igor won many awards and awards from the world of musical art. In addition, he acted as producer of the artist and his brother Alexander Voievutskyi.
Music and art can be different, have different fans with different tastes. Ordinary Zhytomyr dwellers have proved that although the path to dreams is not easy, it is possible to achieve it. Dream, act and give joy to others!
