“The Voice of the Moon” was co-written by the great Fellini. The heroes of the film are strange and incomprehensible at first glance, they create the magic of a great movie. However, to better understand the situations in which the protagonist finds himself, it is worth reading the book “Poem about lunatics” by Ermanno Cavazzoni, based on which the film was made. A former patient of a psychiatric hospital hears the voice of the Moon and treats this miracle very tenderly and carefully, because only the voice and love remain unchanged in his life against the background of rapid and meaningless changes and meetings. The film is full of metaphors, allegories and clues that the genius artist gives to the audience. What is worth only the voice of the moon, which is best heard from the well. Sounds like madness? Probably, but isn’t life like that? The last film of the great Fellini, shot in the distant 1990, has finally reached the Ukrainian connoisseurs of cinema and will be a real gift for fans of classic cinema. Screening in Ukrainian cinemas begins on October 20.
“Where’s the money?” The director of this film performed in an unexpected role for everyone, because not everyone is ready to accept DZIDZIO, or Mykhailo Khoma, as a director. According to DZIDZIO himself, the film is created in a new genre – comedy-quest. Rest assured that this is a really light and fun action, as well as the stage image of DZIDZIO to which we are accustomed. The film features realities well known to young people, such as quest rooms, where the protagonist seeks money to save a friend who has been arrested. The film is also interesting for fans of the incomparable work of Ada Rogovtseva, who played one of the main roles. The role of the main character was played by Mykhailo Khoma himself. Ukrainian viewers will be able to appreciate the film, shot in 23 days, and the director’s work of the artist from October 21.
“Jim the Button and the Pirates of the Devil’s Dozen” A good adventure fantasy by German director Dennis Hansel exists not only in movie format – there is a book and an audiobook. However, the author of the famous “Infinite History” managed to create a spectacular film that will appeal to both children and adults. This vivid fantasy story tells the story of Jimmy and Lucas’ true friends, their adventures and new acquaintances, as well as the revelation of secrets. There are many fairy-tale characters in the film, but revenge and betrayal, courage and loyalty, as well as a happy ending are quite real. Brave friends must win! You can enjoy a family viewing of good bright fantasy from October 14 to 27.
“Instructions for the education of majors” The plot of the adaptation of the Mexican comedy “Children of Senor Noble” is almost banal. However, the story of a billionaire who is tired of spoiled children, accustomed to luxuries, is extraordinary, because the father takes on the upbringing of adults and adults. It turns out that bankruptcy is not always a bitter life experience. At least that’s what happened to the hero of the film, who is trying to teach his own descendants. For the children of a rich father, earning a living on their own becomes a real stress, and getting out of the comfort zone is a serious challenge: former majors have to work hard. It is worth watching a light comedy in which life lessons are presented without moralizing. In addition, director and screenwriter Nicolas Kyusch amused with subtle humor and a special French charm. The film is available on screens from the 7th of October.
“The Man Who Sold His Skin” This dramatic film is about a young Syrian fleeing the war. In search of a way to earn money, the protagonist meets a star of modern body art and agrees to get a tattoo. The work of art, which became a tattoo, does not simplify the life of a guy, but creates a bunch of new problems. In addition to the dramatic content, the film attracts the attention of the cast, which starred alongside young actors – Monica Bellucci and Cohen de Bow.
