We have about 30% girls at the faculty. The dynamics are stable, girls go to different specialties: programming, cybersecurity, telecommunications, automation. IT industry is very diverse, there are many different directions in it, and in some girls they can find themselves more. For example, software testing. Some companies in this field give preference to girls, because they are more attentive and scrupulous, they find mistakes more easily. ”
“I combine teaching with programming, because I perform a lot of writing at the university on the necessary software products. The latest draft of this summer is the drawing up of an electronic schedule for the whole university, for all specialties and academic groups. Also, we at the university automated the implementation of entrance exams in the magistracy. A software and hardware complex was developed that recognizes the students’ answers, written by a pen on the sheets, and conducts a count for evaluation.
