Everything comes on time for someone who can wait. This is sure of the actor of the Zhytomyr Regional Museum of Theater – Andrii Gluschuk. It was the happy events that brought him his time to the stage as a singer, and later as an actor. Who is he, in fact: the hero lover or the last romantic?
“Since childhood, he dreamed of being a singer. Sang everything that you can. He knew by heart a lot of songs that were on tape. When I said that I would become a singer, everybody laughed at me. Like, what a singer. However, I still knew that I was born for the scene”(Smiling)
“My first experience as a singer was in the seventh grade. My friend had to speak at the New Year’s fire, but he fell ill, and a music teacher, asked me to sing in order not to break the concert program. Incidentally, it was Shatunov’s song “White Roses”. As I remember now: so scared, all red … However, the public supported me, and I myself felt great pleasure from the performance”
“I graduated from the faculty of pop singing (pr.red.-Zhytomyr Institute of Culture and Arts). He sang in the vocal ensemble “Camerton”, which was based on the Zarichany cultural house. And just one evening, the artistic director of the Zhytomyr Region Theater, Natalya Timoshkina, accidentally drove us to the rehearsal. When I saw her, I began to try harder. And no wonder – she “noticed” and hinted that I could come to the theater to work. Then I was on the second year of the institute”
“At first I worked half-way. Over time, they began to engage in the performances as an actor. But not all at once. The first text, or rather a replica, appeared after two years of work in the theater. Before that – in black golf, the skirts worked in the masses. The friends who came to the show did not even recognize me. After they said: “Did you play in this show too? We did not notice you”
“Karpo in the Kaidash family” – my first major role. I admit, after this role, I felt a passion for the acting thing”
“Of all the characters that I play now, the closest one is Casanova from the performance” The Will of the virgin womanizer. ” We are somehow like him (Smiling). Yes, I also like good women, like to travel and sometimes write songs”
“I enjoy the attention to myself. Sure, every artist dreams about his audience. Artist without public – nothing! We ride on tour in other cities of Ukraine, where we love and always warmly meet. I dream that our theater will act abroad. Maybe it’s a bit selfish, but our performances are one of the best in the country”
“Today, the audience is fascinating, it’s always necessary to wonder, to invent something new, to keep up with time, to make a real show on stage. Our directors succeed”

“I can differentiate between work and personal. Therefore, I even perceive intimate scenes exclusively as a job. I do not know, of course, how this will be my future wife (Smiling). But this is a work and a point. I think that you really can only love one person”
“It seems to me that I am now on the verge of change. It was just recently that I did not get pleasure from work. I went to work without realizing that this is life, and it goes on, and we must do everything today to the maximum in order to become better. I did not do it. Now I began to feel that if today we do not do what we can, tomorrow such a possibility may not be. So I started working more on myself. Do not dream, but act! ”
“Zhytomyr is my hometown where I was born. It is small, cozy, not fussy, as in the capital. And here you can become a professional of your business! After all, it is not for nothing to say: “Where was born, needed there”
