Dear intelligent guy who shyly smiles at greetings, on the outside, is by no means associated with the notion of “outstanding cultural figure of the present”. But their 28 journalists and writers Bohdan Lohvynenko managed to make a lot of important and useful things.
The publication of the book “Passers-by” is definitely an event in literary life. The book does not contain epic scenes, large-scale descriptions, and highly relevant stories. “Passers-by” cling to others: their sincerity and truthfulness. “I am impressed by people, not by country or territory,” says Bohdan Lohvynenko.
His stories are small discoveries, because every person for the author is the universe.
Perhaps it is for this reason that the “Facebook stories”, thanks to the Publishing House of Old Lion, came out with a magnificent book, which was presented by the author to Zhytomir citizens in the “Lviv Chocolate Workshop” on one December evening.
“Passersby” – good and light stories about meetings with ordinary people, among which there are completely different characters. The author says only about the negative impressions experienced by some heroes as an experience.
“If you have a bad mood, you will surely meet evil people. There is no percentage of good or bad in every country and country. However, it happens to be good for the most part”, – smiles the writer.
Actually, this is not surprising, because, speaking about his activities, Bohdan emphasizes that the journalist is a mediator, and the author himself most of all likes journalism of direct action, which connects the needs of some people and the ability of others.
Bohdan tells about a Slovak girl from Bratislava, who wanted to teach Ukrainian, but did not have the necessary textbooks. Thanks to our modest hero in a short time, people sent her a “pack of books, a whole cell bag.” Prone to self-irony, the journalist calls himself “courtier philosopher” and scarifies when talking about his achievements.
About our city, the author of the Passers-by says: “Zhytomyr has a very advantageous location, and thanks to the improvement of highways entered the orbit of Kiev.”
It would be desirable to expect that stars in this orbit will appear more often, and in the Lviv Chocolate Workshop soon the following books will be presented by journalist and writer Bohdan Lohvynenko.
