A year ago, Yulia Balan herself needed help. She was helped by friends and acquaintances who collected money for treatment. In difficult moments Julia met with Inessa Matiushchenko. About Inessa and her created Cancel-R group can be told separately. Everyone joining the group is alike in one: they are ready to deal with a terrible disease. Daily struggle is a simple commonplace, to which we are accustomed and even consider obligatory.
What a heroic, will you say if a young woman gets up, does makeup, collects children in school or goes with her husband on a trip? Do not wait for sympathy, do not suffer, do not despair, do not look like it is difficult for your loved ones near you – this is a true heroism. Only from superheroes, they are not alike: too fragile, but fun and beautiful.
And they want to share their optimism with others. Natasha – the mother of four children, cancer-recovering, came from Korostyshev: “I knew about the Cancel-R group, I knew about Inessa and hoped that I would be able to participate in the project once. And then Julia offered to come to the photo session in Zhytomyr. And here we are with the girls here. ”
Elena, the mother of two children, Zhytomyr citizen: “It is very difficult for me to look at those who are with me. I told myself I want to be happy that I have to rejoice in every new impression. This is not a verdict, it’s just a disease. And I am very grateful to those who help me to fight for life. ”
Yulia Balan: “During the disease, the female body undergoes significant changes: it is the loss of hair, and swelling of the face, and the change in the color of the skin, and scars, and loss or weight gain. All these are the effects of chemotherapy, operations and the administration of hormonal drugs. Each woman in this period loses faith in her attractiveness, which leads, at a minimum, to bad mood. Women are deeply worried about these events and even fall into depression – an extremely dangerous condition, because one of the conditions for successful treatment is the avoidance of stress. Therefore, a photo shoot is exactly what girls need during this period. I took part in such photo sessions in Kiev, organized by Inessa Matiuschenko within the framework of his Cancel-R project, and I always wanted to do the same in Zhytomyr. We have all the conditions here: cool makeup artists, photographers, designers and just cool people who can and want to do good! ”
The photo project really involves a lot of interesting and kind people. This is Julia Kruchak, who provided clothing for shooting, and a makeup artist from the ARTVIEW studio and make-up artist Natalia Savenko (Korostyshiv), photographers Oleksii Lubyahin and Vasyl Slovinsky, a team of Portal’s creative studio, who helped to organize it. Together they rejoice in life at its most sensuous moments.
Actually, the cycle of good happened! Thanks to Yulia Balan, who got a new meaning – helping others. They say that this gift of God is only available to great people, because they have something to share.
