For 12 months, we have been following all the latest cinemagraphs. Perhaps, on the “dessert”, that is, at the end of the year, the film companies have prepared for their audience the best screen gifts, and maybe even supercells. To judge you, however, we found among the announced shaded stories those which should definitely be genuine cinema fans
“The Nutcracker and the Four Realms” Disney film adaptation of Ernest Hoffman’s Tale of Nutcracker and the Mouse King (1816) and the ballet by Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky “Nutcracker” (1892) is performed in the genre of fantasy. Directed by actors Mackenzie Foy, Keira Knightley, Helen Mirren and Morgan Freeman. In the plot of the young Clara, who lost her mother, goes to the ball to her baptized, where she receives as a gift a wooden box-box in the world of tales and adventures. As the girl encounters four mysterious kingdoms, Ukrainian viewers will be seen on their cinema screens already in the beginning of December in a family fairy tale that they love so much on the eve of the new year.
“The house that Jack built” The thriller of the cult director Lars von Trier is telling the story of a smart but elusive serial killer Jack, who in 12 years of his “dark practice” perfected his own skill of murder and brought it to the rank of “art.” The persecution and scenes of the plots will be seen by the eyes of the most ruthless criminal. On large screens, a completely aesthetically shot thriller will be released in early December.
“Aquaman” Who did not expect the American fanfare action film directed by James Wan about Arthur Curry announced on the net, he is definitely not a fan of the comics of the DC cinema. A young man, endowed with megasil, super speed and the ability to breathe underwater by the name of Arthur Curry, learns that his mother, Athlane, was the Queen of Atlantis. She once promised a promise that her son would become the ruler of the seven seas. Arthur, the child of two worlds, becomes a superhero Aquamen, now he is waiting for a struggle for peace between the opposing worlds. A ribbon with Jason Momoa as a superhero will be released in Ukraine on December 13.
“Jonathan” In the center of the story – two brothers John and Jonathan, whose identities are united in one body. Jonathan is a calm young man who works as an architect at an architectural firm, John is an emotional guy who lives an active life. Day after day, Jonathan is in the body in the daytime, John is at night. The clear schedule and control of the brothers Dr. Mina Nariman brings order and harmony to the relationship of the brothers, but this ends when one of the brothers falls in love with the girl. What a finale in a confused story full of mysteries and secrets will become clear already on December 20th.
“My awkward sexual adventure” Ukrainian comedy, telling the story of a boy-loser, who, making a sentence of a hand and a heart to his lover, learns that he is full of love affairs. Despair, a journey to comforting a friend in Prague, an intrigue with newly-known girls – all of this awaits the protagonist, who becomes almost a “hero-lover”. Maybe now the boy will have a chance to return the ex-girlfriend, and maybe he is well in a new, bachelor’s life … What is the finale of cinematic comedy with the participation of Roman Lutskyi , Natalia Mazur, Serhii Prytula, Angelika Nikolayeva and Andrii Danilko, will be seen on the big screens of Ukrainian cinemas from December 20th.
New-year mood, like a thin pre-holiday aroma of tangerines and a living tree, is gradually spreading around. It is in everything: in the thoughts on gifts and celebratory table, in New Year’s lights and other decorations, and even in films. Therefore, inhale in full breasts, dream about the cute little things that make a person happy, do not forget about the world of cinema, in which almost always the heyday catches up with the main characters. And although life is not cinema, rejoice in simple things and be happy!
