While adults are hoping for the best to come in the next year, kids believe in Father Frost who is in power to make the most cherished wishes come true and bring to life the most secret dreams….
Having been armed with sweets, cobby grandpa with white beard and red fur coat, harnesses reindeer in sleigh, takes his fabled helpers and sets off his journey for sharing miracles with kids.

On the eve of New Year’s holidays there are a lot of marvels happening in Zhytomyr puppet theatre: heroes of famous comics are becoming alive!

Batman, Superman, Iron Man, Monster High and Spider-Man are the most favorite and popular characters which start measuring their swords. The real battle deploys in front of children: hard-fought, decisive and fair. As a rule, the winner is white side with the support of official New Year’s magician – Father Frost.
He came to kids from Lapland not alone but with his granddaughter The Snow Maiden and a big bag of sweets. Hey, kind kids!
On the opening night performance “New Year in COMICCity” fantastic wonders are happening and kids are laughing loud now and then close their eyes. The most incredible thing is that it’s not a cartoon yet, it is theatre!
NEARBY DOLLS THEATRICAL ATMOSPHERE IS CLEARLY FELT
The dolls are not on the screen here, but in real life – they talk and motivate little spectators to feel unusual theatrical atmosphere.
By the way, there is a “New Year’s post” in the hall of theatre. You can leave pictures and wishes about presents to get under the Christmas tree on 1st of January in the big red box. Have your kid already written the letter to Father Frost?
