Try to remember the best museum you once visited. Memories, of course, will be different. Someone from the older generation recalls the felted slippers and angry aunts who kept in the strain of all the visitors by the slogan “do not touch hands”. But young people with enthusiasm will tell about other museums, in which I want to come back again and again, where it is interesting both children and adults, where every visitor is waiting and rejoice in all the manifestations of interest. It is precisely for the museums of Zhytomyrshchyna to become the same interactive spaces and cultural centers for museum workers conducted educational courses
Educational courses are a logical continuation of a series of educational events for specialists in the museum industry of the region “Transformation of Cultural Institutions” that took place in March 2018. “From Closeness to the Formation of the Consciousness of Modern Society” – the slogan of the project “Educational courses for museum workers”, conducted by the Department of Culture and Tourism of the Zhytomyr Regional State Administration.
In the framework of a grant project with the support of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation, courses for museum workers should help improve the work of local cultural institutions and determine the ways of their development through the study of successful experience and current work formats.

During the training, there was an exchange of experience, awareness of the mission and capabilities of the museum, practical practices, professional competences at the level of time requirements: decentralization of culture, European values, functions of museums, educational public open spaces, access to the national and world cultural heritage, the formation of a positive image. region and state, innovative approaches in museum affairs, a platform for the cooperation of cultural representatives, a systematic approach to museum affairs in a changing environment, the creation of a museum s programs for different age groups, to create a single museum ticket.
Educational courses for museum workers – the opportunity to promote more opportunities for the development and implementation of projects of cultural development of the region in the future.
And maybe very soon it will be in our museums that queue interested quest for intellectual treasures will fit into the queue.
