«Children Moviefest» has become one of the brightest events of the year. It is a festival that presents to Ukrainian kids new from the world cinematography and the best examples of the world`s movie classics. It takes place in 23 Ukrainian cities and the most important mission is to develop a tradition of united family goings to the cinema ,to attract children to watch and create films. Last year the festival was visited by 42 000 of viewers, this year even you can join!

«The Zoo» It is a family movie of a common cooperation of Ireland and the Uk. It tells about Belfast during the WW2. The main characters of the film are trying to save animals from the local zoo. This film created by Coleen McIvor was recognized as the best family movie by the thought of the young jury of the international festival in Seattle.
«Room 213» It will be the first time for the horror film to be shown in the festival. The viewers aged after 12 can evaluate the movie from Switzerland,which is recognized as the best kids section film of the International moviefestival in Toronto. The main characters of the film come to the summer camp and begin to suspect that ghosts are likely to be their neighbours.
«A stolen princess» It is an Ukrainian animated hit which tells a story of a daughter of Kyiv prince,stolen by an evil wizard,and a travelling musician,who is trying to save her. The roles in a film were voiced by: Oleksiy Zavhorodniy, Nadja Dorofeeva, Serhiy Prutyla, Yuriy Horbunov and the ambassador of «Children Moviefest» Oleg «Fagot» Mikhailiyta.
«Pipi,Pupu and Rosemary: the secret of the stolen notes» A festival gives a movie for the smallest viewers. It tells about the forest animals,who are trying to come back the stolen notes for the organization of the musical concert.
«Casper and Emma in the theatre» It is a film created by Norwegian masters and it tells about kids who gain an opportunity to visit a real theatre. This adventure inspires them to create a play of their own. It will tell about boys, who in the dark December nights before Christmas light the lanterns near the houses.
«I am William» It is a family comedy created by the Danish cinematographists and tells about a boy William who lives with his uncle. The last got retired early and now all his free time is dedicated to buying and selling different useless things. He owns money for the criminals and once they come up to take their money back.
«The Forest of a Ghostly Owl» This film is about little Eja, a big lover of adventures. During her Christmas holidays a girl comes to an enigmatic farm, where she would have to save an ancient forest,to help two beloved to be together and at last to find out a secret of her family.
«The Circus» A special event of this year is a film dedicated to 130-year from the birth of a great film director Charlie Chaplin. That is why the moviefestival «Children Film Festival» has called the face of the fest-the Owlet Charlie. Besides the contest little viewers can learn classic of comedy starring a legend of the worlds cinema.
«The Security Depository» As a tradition a fest will close an owner of Grand-priex of a previous year-a fantasy film about travels of a modern schoolboy,who during a sun eclipse comes by a magical portal to the past, to the times of Kyivska Rys. With mighty Ukrainian warriors he will fight the huge army of polovtsi with the leader,a gigantic stone monster.
The winner of the contest will be called by viewers voting-at the entrance of the cinema guests will get a bulletin where they will put a mark for a film.
