And although mummy and grandmother’s delights are irreplaceable attributes of family holidays, still sometimes it would be desirable to run into a cafe, to lose with a girlfriend, or just look at the saddle the city through the glass … And then there, behind the window, there are bustle and problems, and gastrotisfaction brings the simplest and the most democratic foods
Our gastroexpert – a modern and democratic content manager, Olena Riumina, visited the Casual Cafe “Mandry”, so we have not only gastronomy, but real gastromistors

Location The historical center of the city is very near, and here is the heart of Zhytomyr with its central area, active traffic and beautiful urbanistic view from the window “Mandry”. In any weather, at any time of the year, looking at Zhytomyr outside the window, you understand: “Life is raging.”
You can park your car here just under the window, or just a little bit, and it’s extremely convenient for those who overcome the city’s central transport solution from any direction. You can just drive through the area, but you can leave the car and go to the “Mandry”.
Interior The fresh and modern, yet democratic interior allows you to feel at ease both the office workers who dine there constantly and at dinner have managed to solve a couple of serious cases, those who went accidentally and those who want to spend in “Mandry”evening in friendly conversations.
Thanks to the zoned space it is possible to fit comfortably and noisy companies more, and young families with a young man, and a respectable lady. For the smallest visitors there is a small children’s corner where you can play and dance.
Our gastronovnitsy chose a place near the window, because the ghost around sometimes allows you to focus and come up with something new and creative.
Cuisine Menu here, of course, not restaurant. And this is quite natural for such an urban institution. But gastrofishka, collected from all over the world, will come to taste even to discerning guests.
If you go in the morning, you can have a delicious and useful breakfast. Eggs, omelettes, crepes and even granola are what to choose from. But our gastro expert assures that the cheesecakes – an option universal. In the middle of the day there is a business lunch, painted on days of the week, which is quite convenient for employees of neighboring institutions.
Well, and for dinner you can choose something from assorted snacks. Our gastro-adventurer preferred mushroom cream soup, vegetable salad (the classic of the genre – “Greek” salad) and vegan burrito.
Olena is a supporter of healthy eating, but for lovers of meat dishes, there is also something interesting. Since the weather is unlikely to be called a gentle, non-alcoholic mulled wine of grape juice. Asian, French dishes here are great “get along” next. Why not? Zhytomyr has always been multicultural and the cuisine of “Mandry” is a confirmation. Let’s be honest, if we were happy to replace salad and burrito with meat dishes, for example, chicken fillet in bacon with baked vegetables, then the mushroom soup should be tasted. Even those who like this dish will discover new delicate notes for themselves.
The check for such a lunch will be much higher than the cost of a business lunch, but those who are in no hurry can enjoy the urban landscape.
Service Because the city is in a hurry to work, the service is trying quickly here. Our gastromandernaya just managed to warm up a bit, as they brought ordered meals. Special requests of the guests here react adequately, of course, if it is within the competence of the owners.
And even if you do not go in time (we went in when solving small technical issues), you just politely offer to wait until the employees finish the beginnings. But all this will be completely civilized and professional, and professionalism must be respected.
Interesting things Good company, delicious food, modern interior – all this just goes to the background when you look out the window.
