“I have been designing since 2013. Always dreamed of something creative, but not specifically – a designer. It just happened. Education is generally higher in my economy. From my childhood I lived all my life in threads, tissues – my mother sewed. At first, she sewed the usual dresses, then began to attend weddings and evenings. And I watched it. And when there was a need, I realized that I can do it, because at school, the university always created clothes for itself. Therefore, my relatives chanted: “Maryno, risky, try!” Well, I took a risk, tried. It’s gone! ”
“We dressed the Miss Ukraine contest in 2014, participated in the annual design competition. There was an experience, but no longer want it. It is very difficult to make a collection without material support. This applies to Ukraine as a whole, but to Zhytomyr and preferences. On shows, everything needs to be paid for, but is it worth it? I do not know”
“In the summer we were on the” Flamingo Pool Party “- the most fashionable girl-evening in Ukraine. It was a very fashionable event, its organizer – the wife of the restaurateur Tishchenko, Alla Bonya. She is a blogger, girls adore her way of life, appearance. She started holidays. “Being strong is not difficult. Yo get used to it.I have always been strong. A strong woman is not the one who fists with a fist on the table. You can be loving, tender, love people and stay strong. There is a force when a person clearly goes along the intended path, despite all the obstacles. And there is another force when you just want to make a lot in life. “As a child, I was not a fan of outfits. I do not remember being dressed up. From school I wanted to stand out. I was an ore, freckled, the name Gomoniuk – was an excuse for teaspoons. Children do not need much for this. But my mother was very supportive. She always said: “Wait: those who are teasing now will be tired tomorrow”. So it happened! (Smiles). Once in my school years, I followed the fashion, and now I am more interested in the other. I want to create my own style »
“I look over the work of fashion masters, I really love the historical films. It inspires, you can borrow some pieces. From modern designers, I am interested in world brands: Chanel, Christian Dior, Gucci. But not all collections are liked, just some things. Even watching is interesting: and what else in the person in his head that extraordinary is still to be created! ”
“Now the PR is very important. It was in those times when mom started to sew, the important thing was “dressing up the radio”. It, incidentally, still works: now the grandsons of the brides are coming, which my mother used to wear. And today, in order to find a new client, it is necessary to invest a certain amount of resources – one skill is not enough. Now it is necessary to involve both photographers and social networks. People today depend on it, everyone is constantly seated and they click something in the phones ”
“Glamor is obviously not my image, though sometimes it has to be created. But me this artificiality just kills! I like naturalism. It is clear that sometimes it is necessary to decorate something. As, say, plastic and surgery: there are people who can not solve the problem ”
“I have fairly modest prices, given that part of the details are manual work. The trouble is not in the price, but in the fact that people are afraid to experiment. You explain to a person, even make you risk! I’m even ready to give a person a loan. Let him go and listen to the compliments. And so it was already. And one day even the wife of our friends called and said that her husband had fallen in love again, admitted that she had not immediately recognized her in my author’s dress.
