Do you remember the feeling of waiting a moment for some important event? We were preparing, dreaming and very very worried. And today we started!

This story began with an occasional meeting with Darina Bilianska, curator of the Music Camp International in Ukraine. Daria told us about the project that we take care of, that we understood: the team of the NGO “Zhytomyr! Make it Glorious” is simply obliged to realize it with us, for our children. And today, Music Camp Zhytomyr started!
Almost 200 children gathered in the morning in Mykhailivska Street in anticipation. It was interesting to all: both children, parents and teachers of music school, who are already ready for the new school year and new students. We are confident that after the Music Camp, Zhytomyr will increase them here, because the project is designed not only to learn to play musical instruments or sing. President of Music Camp International Constance of Fortunato is not only a music specialist for learning music and singing.
This wonderful woman reveals in each of us the potential of boundless kindness, endurance and hard work. She has only three simple “secrets” that make a miracle! First, respect for the instrument our heroes are working with. Secondly, the complete refusal of gadgets. Yes Yes!
Gadgets are off! And the parents who could not call the children were extremely excited. And let’s say that it’s completely in vain: teachers who work with project participants have been trained. But there was also a third “secret”: caring and mutual assistance between participants of Music Camp Zhytomyr, teachers, volunteers.
By the way, it is volunteers who are most surprised at us: ordinary boys-turntables, who initially helped to carry musical instruments, gave a bomb show. This is the true power – the power of spirit, the power of kindness and mutual respect! Let’s just say that they launched a kind of bunch of good surprises for participants of the Music Camp Zhytomyr, but we will not open all the secrets yet – wait a bit!
So, just start, and in Zhytomyr will be louder!
