The second day of the Music Camp project, Zhytomyr, has passed, and wonderful impressions and strange feelings will not disappear. Find out what’s new and interesting about people who make their everyday life brighter

Thanks to the team of NGO “Zhytomyr! Voice Up!” Among the project participants there are many interesting people who can live, enjoying every day. And they can give this joy to us and you.
The volunteer of the project Irina learned about it from the page on Facebook and invited her children to take part. It seems like nothing special, but it’s only at first glance.
Irina Shukhtuieva is not a resident of Zhytomyr, she is a Crimean citizen, a forced displaced person. Now her family has been living in Kamyanets-Podilsky for several years now, and they have already managed to fall in love after the move. There Irina is well known for her initiative: tailoring suits that reproduce a certain historical epoch. Having learned about the history of the house, which will host the Music Camp Zhytomyr, Irina brought with her a few costumes of the 19th-century century. For what? On this question she gave a simple answer: “Maybe the children will be interesting.”
Of course, it was interesting to know everyone that at the beginning of the 20th century. The future academician Usanovich lived in the building number 5 on Mikhailovsky Street. It was here that once the cinema “Lux” was located and there were some of the first cinema sessions in Zhytomyr, with tapers on which there were future composers V. Kosenko and M. Skorulskyi. Now on this place – music school number 1 in B. Lyatoshinskyi, in which the glorious past is preserved. Historical costumes are not just a surprise for the participants. This is a symbolic journey in time that helps to recreate the spirit of the era and feel pride in the cultural past of Zhytomyr.
Participant of the Music Camp Zhytomyr Lisa Sharobokova loves music, singing, and even makes pretty dolls of flax yarns that decorate with natural materials. Together with Bohdan Kravchuk, a project participant, and Kateryna Stetsyuk, they “tried on an era.” Once a little Katya Sama himself participated in the Music Camp project as a member, now she is already working as a teacher and is very proud to be involved with such a good initiative.
Who, perhaps, among the present participants of the project, are also future composers, scholars and inventors?
Such “historical surprises” took place on the second day at the Music Camp in Zhytomyr thanks to people who are just curious to live!
