It is logical that the artist who created them, something similar to his characters – the same frank fun. Sasha Kalmanovych is able to create his own world, in which there are many good people and stylish interiors. By the way, she does good people in the very direct sense, and many know Sasha as a professional visagist. And why not, if from that world becomes beautiful?

“I learned to draw in the MOD (edited by Zhytomyr Technical College of Mechanical Wood Processing). I just needed a specialty where I do not have to take math. Has got a diploma something like “designer”. But they gave us a lot! There were teachers who are members of the Association of Artists of Ukraine. Funny people, cool, who put us twice more than required ”

“In my childhood I did not like to draw, because the school always gave some funny tasks. For example, draw children playing snowballs. Imagine what they went ugly: I did not know how to draw. I remember once drawing a beautiful parrot – my mother helped. And on a small leaf in a cell, she painted a portrait of her niece, which was then about three years old. She rolled terribly, but I so quickly painted the pencil, and everyone said that it was very similar. It was a seventh grade. And I drank I learned two weeks before entering college: I met a girl who graduated from the “artist” and she showed me how to do it. Now remember funny! ”

“I dream of my studio, a great studio, where it will be possible to expand everything in its places. I will paint there and do makeup. What is the makeup for me? It’s fun, hobby. During my student years I worked as a consultant at a cosmetic firm from a well-known brand. We were well trained, we studied the composition of the skin and many other important and useful things. And then my girlfriend, Anya Gusarova, began to take pictures and asked to prepare the girls for photography. Said: “Sashka, you’re beautifully beautiful”. It’s gone, gone, and already six years”

“I was watching YouTube video about how cool makeup artists work. Pause, write down everything they do. When you can draw, make a makeup professionally, you can do anything. “I am patient. I have a table at home where I started drawing a mandala. There are so many details, little things. It’s difficult and pleasant to do it at the same time, but it just requires a bunch of free time. And I think that if I had free time, I would sit somewhere in the corner and make another strange figment from one strange figment and put it into a strange place. “(Laughs)

“Characters for the pictures are easy to pick up. What is the soul, and that’s what it takes. Any fairy tale, any cartoon, oh, minions, for example. They are not girls and not boys – unisex. We thought brothers for the dental office of the heroes of the fairy tale “Alice in the Land of Wonders,” but they should be made cartoons so coolly. “My first reaction to everything is laughter, even when I am with someone or worry about it. I can not post, I start to laugh”

“Somehow I had to make a make-up to Vlada Litovchenko. She arrived in Zhytomyr, and I was lucky enough to work with her. I also did Nina’s makeup of Matvienko – I was preparing to perform at a concert in memory of Volodymyr Shynkaruk. She is very cool! I wanted to hug it so much! She immediately realized that she was notable, but at the same time very simple: she told me about her city. The man is legend! When she began to chant before the concert, I cried. I am very proud that it was touching”

“Money seems to be important, but at the same time nothing is worth it. Of course, money is needed, but they are needed for something. They simply do not matter in their own right. Money is a comfort, but no happiness, no love, nor other spiritual things will be bought for them. And I am a spiritual person”

“When they ask me where I’ve spent a million, I come to the idea that I need a billion. (Laughs). I thought I want a great good home. Then I think: “Who is he? Who will clean up there? We have to hire people to clean, clean the pool. ” For the same it is necessary to survive, to pay taxes and all that. No, I would have built a house for all of my own: for relatives, for friends. “I do not like any abstract Zhytomyr or Ukraine, I love the city for people, for our people. And although they do not smile so often, as they are abroad, but they are relatives. People from one environment, from one area, should be better understood. People from abroad are still some kind of a little thread of understanding and not enough”

“I like in Spain, there are such lazy-cool ones! They sleep in the afternoon – their people. (Laughs). You look at their old ones, and they want to live: grandmothers in the morning make hairstyles in salons. And what do our grandmothers do in the morning? Going to social care after the 5th morning. Sorry for our people, they are worth more. Abroad, people are dressed better and cars are cool, but they are still sad. Yes, they are more comfortable to live, but they are not happier than that. If you are unhappy, there is no difference in which country you are. You are unhappy all the same”

“I do not know if I could seriously plan a career. With my character it is hardly possible: Today I want to draw, tomorrow cut out of foam, the day after tomorrow something else. But if I promised to do something, then I keep my promise and do it, even when it’s not very desirable. You can not bring people who count on you. I also count on someone. Everything is coming back!
