Shakespeare once said that the whole world is a theater and the plays in this theater, called “life”, are always philosophical. With the help of the NGO “Zhytomyr. Voice Up!” We were able to take a look at the world through the eyes of adolescents from the front-line towns of Donetsk region

On April 24-25, the actors of the children’s theater group from the Donetsk city of Novhorod presented at the “Zhytomyr” Hotel a philosophical performance, but a very vital performance.
For all those wishing to attend the show “Letters to an unknown friend from New York”, which was brought to Zhytomyr by young Donetsk citizens during the tour.
Director and playwright of the performance of Olha Danyliuk, in the genre of interactive documentary, together with the young actors immersed the Zhytomyr audience in the atmosphere of real life of the front-line towns of Ukraine, told us about how teenagers see and feel war.
Those who were lucky enough to get into the action, got different emotions: from helplessness to regret, from bitterness to hope. But one thing can be argued unambiguously: “Letters to an unknown friend from New York” did not leave anyone indifferent.
Communicating with the actors who tell the viewer that they have moved themselves gives an understanding of simple and necessary things. We must appreciate and love our city, where it is so nice to welcome guests, and to enjoy a peaceful life together.
Especially since Zhytomyr has something to show to its guests. Young Donetsk citizens visited the Museum of Cosmonautics, which are extremely proud of the Zhytomyr people. The atmosphere here inspires and embodies the belief in the most daring dreams, and therefore struck adolescents. Who knows, this visit may for somebody be the start of new victories and achievements of technical peaks.
The exposition of the museum of local lore, which demonstrates the natural riches and the ancient history of Zhytomyr region, also made an incredible impression on the girls and boys from the miners’ territories. Nature of Polissia is rich, and the land is fertile and generous.
A sweet master class in Lviv Chocolate Workshop is a tasty interesting and wonderful opportunity to plunge into the world of childhood. Guests who gave us incredible impressions also received a lot of gifts from the sincere and hospitable residents of Zhytomyr.
The tour is an opportunity to tell people about the lost and riches, about the life that changed the war, but the main goal of the young talented actors is to unite. Join us with you for the opportunity to build a decent life and a strong country that is proud of its talents.
