Autumn, evening, and poetry … What can be more romantic, especially if the poet – Zhytomyr citizen. Yevhen Horodetskyi has been living abroad for a long time, but he does not forget his hometown. And one of the autumn evenings invites you to spend together in the Creative Laboratory “Portal”

The poet, prose writer and philanthropist Eugene Gorodetsky was born in Zhytomyr. His childhood is a classic variant for children of the Soviet era: a kindergarten, a school, an institute. Then, in his younger days, he was not going to get up on the creative path – he first graduated from the Zhytomyr branch of the KPI, and then the National Law Academy of Yaroslav the Wise. The creativity of Yevgen inspired the story of his own family, it’s tragic past. Historical documentary “Case number” is based on real facts about which the author learned from the materials of criminal cases, on which charges were brought against his grandfather, ordinary Zhytomyr dweller  Aron Horodetskyi.
The publication of a collection of poems and short stories called “# unpublished” is another step in creativity. A profound philosophical view of the world, on the course of life, on important things for a person is all the subjects of his works, in which a vast range of human feelings is collected: humor and sorrow, and grief. In Horodetskyi’s poetry there is something that cares for people who are not indifferent and sensitive, along with the reader, he tries to answer the eternal questions. Everyone appreciated the bright lyrics and interesting conversation will have an opportunity to meet with the author, listen to the stories “for life” and learn about the views and creative plans.
