However, I really wanted to have a higher education, so I graduated from the Academy of Management and Business in Kyiv, faculty of physical education and sport ZSU. The price in Ukraine for education is high, a lot of money is paid, and the relevant knowledge is not always obtained. Basic knowledge gives us life, and we need to learn daily, all the time, everyone who surrounds you, who you communicate with. Sometimes it’s enough to grasp certain vitalities of life”
“Of course I am educated, sometimes was well punched byparents. We lived modestly, parents worked a lot, but there was always some lack of money. Maybe those times were, I do not know. Mum worked as an accountant, so much money was only on paper, besides being alien (laughs). Of course, I wanted a brighter life. When in difficult 80-90-ies brought things from Poland, and some other parents were more creative and drove their children some chewing gum – “Donald” or “turbo”, sweets, I also wanted to. “Mixed martial arts – this is a sport that has to invest most of its earnings in the development and training of athletes! I realize that if I do not do this, they will, like everyone else, look for the best. In a sporting environment, many of me ask: “And you are a promoter?” It would be cool if I worked with promoter companies. When we train athletes to perform, they feel very comfortable where during the competition they provide everything they need: a hotel, assistants, etc. The reward for this is an amazing feeling when you leave the Ukrainian flag when our athlete wins! But this is a daily great work”
“For training it is necessary to recruit children from the age from which they start to act in our sport – from ten years. But I’m typing the kids from six, and dealing with them, trained by them Dasha Samchik (edited by coach, gold medalist of the European Championship MMA in 2017, multiple winner of competitions in Ukraine and the world). “I work with athletes, I prepare guys according to their own technique. Watching the development of martial arts in the world, I see perspectives. I’m introducing new technologies to workouts, and boys grow up, win, win certain titles, which I am extremely proud of. I am proud of the victories of my students. This is a purely moral satisfaction, from which I am simply amused. I’m glad, I’m inspired, I think about their victories and I’m not ashamed of myself. And the money … I spend on it big sums, sometimes even my loved ones are hugging me, but I like what I am doing”

“I love Zhytomyr. My children grow up here. I had thoughts about leaving, but all the time I was restrained by plans, prospects and my projects. So now I’m preparing a project that does not allow me to go anywhere. If I do not do this here, nobody else will do it. It’s just that everything is left to go and I can not go”
“I am now preparing a room with new equipment. It will be cool! Even young boys will be cool to work in such a hall, which in Zhytomyr has not yet been. Everything will be at a high level, as in Europe, where martial arts are developing”
“It would be desirable that the authorities worried not only about playing sports, but also contributed to the development of others. About the positive that already exists in Zhytomyr, people should know, it should be shown, popularized, that people were engaged. Of course, we have some opportunities, but this is not enough”
“Enthusiasm at a certain moment comes to a standstill: either money ends, or aspiration. The state should stimulate potential investors, encourage them to work with sports clubs, schools. Then it will be interesting for wealthy people to give money to the development of sports, investors will choose themselves to help. And one person, one businessman can not allocate money to everyone. Investors need to be motivated. Everything abroad works on private money, but with the support of the state. Unfortunately, to this level of culture we still have far”
“Changes should begin with ourselves. I ask my guys: “You when the last time in the entrance rack shook?” They remind about HUS, they say, there are people for this, which we pay for. And what about the HUS? The dirt is near you! Just clean yourself up. And when I draw attention to such trifles, people say: “And I go every day and I do not notice, but it should be.” Such specific small things are really important”

“I want not just to train, but to give my pupils a profession in their hands, I want them to become professional athletes, were provided with work. My pride is Dasha Samchik. She is carefully preparing for the competition, and we all support her. And friends and family, even a three-year-old son, who often comes to work with her.
