Performances of the Kiev Studio «Black square» always arouse the interest of the Zhytomyr Theater Beau Monde. Of course, provocative and Frank themes, lively relationships, and most importantly – the cast of Black square theatre, which brought together amateur actors. Hypothetically, everyone can join the theatrical action. But very few Zhytomyr people know that we also have Zhytomyr theater under the mysterious and symbolic name «СюрTUK»
The name «СюрTUK» causes direct associations with fine clothes. Therefore, a small dossier on «СюрTUK» we decided to do in the format of «fashion».
Year of creation of «СюрTUK» – 2018.
Cutter, she’s a Director and inspirer – Oksana Naumenko.
Size of «СюрTUK» – 15/35. These are 15 authors and 35 actors who participated in the last action of «Window 2.0».

«People go to the theater for entertainment, but imperceptibly come out with feelings and thoughts that woke up, enriched by the knowledge of the beautiful life of the spirit», wrote Konstantin Stanislavsky. These words the master spoke about the audience, but «СюрTUK» – a multifaceted phenomenon, because the boundaries between the viewer and the actors are subtle.
«We do not bring culture to the masses, we do not carry anything. We share our inner world with those who are interested in it. This is a live communication, although there is also a conditional division into spectators and actors, which gradually disappears, «the actors of the theater say about their creativity. It is fair to say that the actors and the audience in the «СюрTUK» turn into one big team, charged Big Idea. What, if not the General idea, can inspire people who after work, postponing their own Affairs, go to the rehearsal, where at the same time get a boost of energy from communicating with like-minded people. No wonder they say that giving you can always buy more than what you shared.
Like any object of the material world, «СюрTUK» has a certain ratio of the money supply. Money is needed for props, tools and equipment, because obtaining a quality product – staging – requires investment. And here again the General idea helps: everyone is ready to share their own resources – from musical props to their own skills. And all the funds received from the performance «Bath. Women’s day» and two performances («Windows» and «Windows 2.0»), the team gave to charity.
Someone calls his performances a spiritual Apocalypse, someone says that it is «pure lies and shameful truth», and someone after the performance wants to fly, be more Frank and «let into the soul from acceleration». The musicians of the group «Northern Reeds», who have repeatedly participated in the action, also outlined the result of joint work: «We did a good deed together. No trouble will win when we have such creative people». Oksana Naumenko herself has her own view: «The Theater, at least today, has no right to tell people how they need to live, what is good and what is bad. However, we can provoke people to think. It is the search for answers that can connect us. And not the fact that we will immediately find the answers, but the opportunity to ask questions justifies everything». Is there a change in «fashion trends» with «СюрTUK»? Yeah, sure! With each performance he expands the circle of fans, more and more willing to come to the action, because the living energy in its pure form, love and inspiration always unite people. So do not be surprised if soon thanks to «СюрTUK» your friends will open theatrical talents that you have not noticed before.
