«For me, quarantine has opened up opportunities, played the role of a catalyst, an accelerator of the process: people quickly came to understand that you can’t go far online. In any case, we need to communicate, because no one lives in a vacuum – communication is needed everywhere. This skill is considered super-professional because there are no people who reach the top without mastering the ability to communicate… My club was just born in response to the wild demand for socialization for people. Many were on an emotional hunger strike because people rarely saw colleagues, friends or relatives due to quarantine. Psychologists from all over the world said that in the spring of 2021 the society will grow the maximum need to create clubs of interest, with common values. I haven’t read about it, but it turns out that my idea «fired» last summer. The first time seven people came to the club, the second – six, because there were people for whom the topic of communication was very important… When I opened my small modest ball, which is now gradually growing into a more serious educational project, I could only dream of scale. I thought that I would start implementing this project not earlier than in three years, but we are already scaling up. It has been two weeks since the plan was fully registered and is now at the stage of advertising and targeting»

«A person’s fear of public speaking is mixed with «imposter’s syndrome», low self-esteem and fear of criticism. To explain how to get rid of it, I always talk about painting. Once upon a time, everyone drew using the experience of famous European schools. But at one point the Impressionists appeared, refusing to study and paint according to the classical canons of painting. They even held the brush in their hands in a different way – the spirit of revolution. All the critics of that time «drove barrels» on them, and now the paintings of the Impressionists are considered almost the most expensive. So people do not always know how to do it right, and not always a person with a diploma will do better. Motivation and knowledge are important. I say in the club: «You should know that you are coached by a person who has never been to a public speaking club». So I am a complete ignorant impostor who has managed to create a friendly community. I always say that the fear of public speaking is in second place among the ten basic human fears. And to teach not to be afraid to speak in public, it is very important to create an atmosphere where fear is leveled or minimized, and people will feel accepted, have positive social contact and the right feedback. Every time after the performances, such an atmosphere strengthens people, and fear recedes»


«I am sure that in 50% of cases people come to the club because they follow the environment, the community. Not that they’re looking for useful connections, though. Friendships are more important for people who attend the same club. In addition, within the community we manage to cover certain needs of people. And one of them is filling the intellectual vacuum. We can live in the circle of loved ones who may not be interested in what is important to you. That is why there is a desire to be among people with common interests. And where to find them? «As a child I was always a soul of a company, without me nothing started in the yard. It seems that then my voice was quite squeaky, like all children. However, I always managed to see only good traits in people. Probably because of this I always managed to find a common language with people – almost never in conflict with anyone. And almost did not fight. In general, I believe that man was not created for fights. Our strength is not in fights, but in communication, in the fact that we know how to unite, to live with one idea… Our strength is intelligence and communication. And the better our language is developed, the better we publish the idea, the faster the world will change»

«I got on the radio in 2000, when I was 18 years old. Then I really dreamed of working there. When radio stations opened in Zhytomyr, it seemed to me that it was very cool: you speak, and everyone listens to you. But after listening, I was told that I would never work on the radio with such a voice. Everything is bad: voice, diction, intonation. I’m sure everything was even worse than I was told (Laughs). But I did not give up. The only thing available at that time was television. I really liked TV news representer Lyudmyla Dobrovolska. I started studying and repeated all the news after her. She read, and I played the whole series of information for her. I tried not to drop the letters, I began to understand how to adjust my breathing, where to salivate when you talk for ten minutes without a break. He trained for two years and in parallel studied the programs used on the radio to create advertising. And went to work on the radio to create advertising. He designed, created various videos, and then in parallel began to read them himself. When I heard from the announcers, I started to speak deftly… I worked on the radio for 12 years, but before that I could never imagine that I would earn a living by voice. The condition remains the same – freedom, but now I am most determined to benefit others. When students write that they are doing better after your lessons, and three or four such messages a day, and on New Year’s Eve they write your name in the «Person of the Year» line, it’s more expensive than any money. You realize that you are doing something that benefits people, and they become happy, free, they have an environment, recognition. My values – freedom, environment, recognition»

«If you want to be in shape, analyze what you think and say during the day. To do this, set an alarm to get a notebook every two hours during the week and write down how you feel now. Record a specific emotional state: you are energetic or depressed, active or passive, you want to create or blunt and sleep. And then look and think about what you were doing when you had these feelings. Analyze what you are talking about with your friends. Try to minimize communication with those people who constantly talk to you about problems, try to surround yourself with people who fill you, with whom you talk about good.
