“Sometimes something seems good only because it is a bit different from the surrounding objects,” Andy Warhol wrote. It turns out good things to do simply: it is worth mentioning them from everyday life. Do you notice this beauty in your city, or pass by her, looking at the dirty puddles?
Every day you go on matters that became everyday and habitual. You go without raising your eyes, not paying attention to beauty. You are sorry that everything is bad, that your city is ugly, and it is worth it to go …
But not everyone thinks so: there are those who see beauty in simple things. Who are they? They are called differently: artists, creative individuals, philosophers. Maybe city crazy or good wizards, which with their magic brush color our gray weekdays?
The name does not matter. It is important that they walk in the same streets, but they hear the sound of non-existent trees, invisible birds sing for them and fairy-tale leaves rustle. For them, the magic music is played: a powerful saxophone or a gentle saucepan.
Every morning for them is a gift of destiny. They do not interfere with them, they themselves make life bright. Someone is suffering in anticipation of gifts, and for them there is a daily opportunity to give a smile to everyone who goes past their drawings. Almost nobody knows their names, age. But gladly takes gifts. And if you think about your pictures or smile, surprise or rejoice, they are happy.
Mural is an urban philosophy, rock paintings of the metropolises, which has long entered life and our city. It is accepted by large and small cities, as it takes the tattoo body, looking for an opportunity to express the inexpressible.
This is how your city speaks with you, which seeks beauty and love from everyone who lives here. Hear your city: streets, and flowers on the windowsills.
Just love the city you live in! And let the painted trees still noise only in someone’s imagination, and the flowers stretch to the sun from the brick walls, lift your eyes from the puddle, believe in the best and hope that the loudest and most streamlined music of your life is still ahead! Learn to see beauty, make your life vivid and do not wait for gifts from anyone.
Thank you, the urban philosopher, for the birds and flowers, for music and bright colors, for beauty and faith in the best times that you decorate my day!
