Each of us in his childhood was a favorite toy – a fluffy animal or pupa. We pressed them to the cheek in bed; we wore them with us for a walk without noticing the wear of the clothes or the frowned face. They were such ours, even had their own, a special fragrance – the aroma of mom, comfort and security.
The doll is like a guard, it goes with us the most important part of our lives – childhood. But that sense of confidence, protection is very necessary and adult, sometimes you want to see a doll next to one that you can trust in secret, but she will calm you and console you, or he will enjoy life with you.
That’s why dolls came with us in life. Even in Soviet times, it was generally necessary to renounce polar bears, so the newlyweds went to the registry office with dolls on the hood of cars.
At the moment, Ukrainians are returning to their origins, and they are talking about ancient dolls, motorcyclists who defended themselves at home and on the road, gave health, peace, and sometimes even wealth. Today, Ukrainian daisies, herbs, grains and pendants adorn almost every home.
Lucky about living in Zhytomyr: we have our own doll.
